Guide
Ever wanted to play Eraser but didn't know what to do? How about played against one and got killed in 1 second?
Fear no more, I've got the T&T(tips and tricks) on how to play an INT Eraser. This should also tell some of you folks how to deal with that pesky Eraser. Where Should I begin though?
Eraser Talents
Killer Instinct: Passive. Class talents recharge 3 sec. faster for each soldier killed and 7 sec. faster for each hero killed.
Killer Instinct will allow you to use your skills multiple times in a team fight, allowing for you to burst a second high priority or even a third.
Insidious Throw: Deals 67-693 physical damage to the first enemy in its path and lowers his Speed by 50% for 3 seconds.
When Ugraded it increases the Damage by a large amount, almost double. This is increased by strength, both the Upgrade and the base.
However this on Int Eraser will be used to keep targets from running and killing low hp enemies after Decisive Strike. 7sec cooldown.
Shadow Warrior: The hero becomes invisible after 2 seconds and accelerates by 20% for 15 seconds.
Bonus: When activated on native terrain the talent last 10 seconds longer.
The first upgrade will allow you to stun on the first blow during Shadow Warrior. This only works after the 2 second fade time and does not effect your Insidious Throw.
When upgraded a second time activation of Shadow Warrior gives health regen 4-64(based on intellect).
Shadow Warrior will let you roam and gank forever, using it on native terrain makes it last for 25 seconds and with our high int we don't have to worry much about potions while we roam.
A little tip you can activate talents that effect you, like a healing talent such as Breathe of Life, without breaking your stealth. 25sec cooldown.
The Mark: The hero places The Mark on the opponent for 15 sec. Each second that The Mark is set on the target and the hero has it in sight, the damage of the first blow that the hero will deal to the marked target is increased by 20%, up to 120% total.
Bonus: When this talent is used on Native Terrain, activation does not require spending any Energy.
When Upgraded as long as the The Mark is on the target, the hero's Energy Regeneration is increased by 4-69 (based on Intellect).
With our high intellect we can gain a big amount of energy back from marking a target as long as they are seen on the map. If you wish to just regenerate some of your energy you can mark a tanky minion in a lane and walk away from it.
The Mark can also be used without breaking stealth so remember that. 10sec cooldown.
Decisive Strike: Moves to the target and deals 127-1316 Magic damage.
Bonus: On Native Terrain, this movement can cover a greater distance.
This skill right here is your bread and butter for Int Eraser. With only a 20 second cooldown you can use this skill in a team fight more then once.
Using this out of Shadow Warrior will also proc the 1 second stun. 20sec cooldown.
Stats
Main stats we will be focusing on in our talents will be INT and CUN(Cunning), as well as some Health, energy and will.
Why not some stamina you ask? well from my stats, having no stamina from talents just the power gain, I have 55% damage reduction from Stamina. Maybe adding one High stamina gain talent is something you would like but I find that Will will help me survive a good chuck of burst from someone like Cryo/blizzard.
Some other talents you might wanna look out for are early game sustain Actives like the Purple Breath of Life giveing 250 hp on activation. As well and the blue Energy reserves giving a stack when and Enemy activates a talent, after 5 use it for a burst of 250 Energy. These are the base amount without them being upgraded.
Borderlands
While on Borderlands for Eraser, do not lane. The way the game is right now you want 3 solo lanes a jungler and a minigame player. Eraser is not effective in lane and the reason is he can't push back, he's squishy and your enemy buys a ward for the lane and you can't go invisible from ganks anymore.
100% of the time an Eraser soloing a lane will lose the first tower to the enemy. Since we are not strength, I do not believe we can jungle but you are free to try and tell me how it worked out. We will be playing the Scroll workshop or zuma as some others call it.
Right when the game starts you want to get to the mini game and click on it when the time is done. you can only do the bird scroll first so click start right away. After finishing this scroll give it to either yourself or the jungler or a lane that will gank before you start ganking. Now right away click the second scroll which is a healing scroll and up the difficulty to 3 skipping 2.
Yay you have completed this now let continue giving healing scrolls till you get to difficulty 6 or 7 then give a starfall to someone like you mid. Lets do 1 or 2 more healing scrolls and at this point it should be a little bit after 10 mins. start grabbing your Talents because now you have your full combo and can gank.
Gank a lane that either needs the help or has an enemy that has to be shut down real quick. During anytime make sure to pick up the glyphs while ganking you could end up with a power glyph boosting you int by a whopping 25%.
During team fights remember to mark the high priorities so you team knows to focus that person first, they will blow up in seconds and it will become a 4v5 real quick. If someone has True Sight be sure not to get to close, but stay close enough and behind the enemy so that when the fight starts you can pounce on the squishies for at least some good damage and a 1 second stun. It also may be a good idea to have cleanse potions on you so you can get out of stuns and other cc's when they turn on you.
Outpost
For Outpost its simple at the beginning buy a health pot and an invis ward and buy you first talent, when you get enough for you invis get it and use it. Proceed to run in the middle if someone autos you place you invis ward and tell the range to kill their ward.
When the siege comes stand next to it while invis and if an enemy tries to come to close pounce on a squishy if they are half hp or your team thinks you guys can kill them fast.
Don't forget to back when on low health when the warning pops up. If you die the siege minion loses 35% of its health.
If an Enemy gets True sight, once again stay close enough to engage but not close enough for them to see you. Use the paths at the side to stay real close and to get behind enemies if you must. Don't for get to scout the glyphs when needed at both ends for you team.
Some talents you may want for outpost are early game sustain a good one to start with is the green tier 1 talent that give 6 health everytime a minion dies near you.
